Changing Winds

What happens to all these used boats when we upgrade?

Are they set on fire like a Viking funeral? Are they sunk for use as artificial reefs? Are they just littering the bottom of the many harbors collecting barnacles?

How about recycling and being able to donate to a lower level pirate? No resale or auctions allowed.

Earning a ship is part of the game. Perhaps some lower ships, like up to a Cutter or Ketch. Certainly not a used quest ship.

I like the recycling idea. Also interesting would be the idea of sinking them for artificial reefs. That could add a new aspect to the fishing, maybe get more involved.
