Changing Winds

I was thinking there could be a new Dutch Auction option in addition to the current Auction.

The way a Dutch Auction works is a pirate puts an item up for a certain gold/doubloon asking price (there should be a time stamp that shows the date/time the auction was created). Say the asking price is 100 gold bars. Any pirate can buy it immediately for the asking price and pay 100 gold. If it doesn't sell for a whole week, it goes down by a certain % (let's say 25%). Then the new asking price is automatically 75 gold and then any pirate can buy it immediately for 75 gold. If that doesn't sell for a whole week, it goes down to 50 gold and then a week later to 25 gold. If it doesn't sell at all by the end of the 4th week, the auction for that item ends and it goes back to the sellers inventory.

Set your Auction End Date: for 24 hours
No sale, relist and lower the price.
Repeat

OR
List an item for a low price and just have the Close date longer. If someone wants it for more than the last bidder, let it ride :)
